I am the Practice Manager for a very busy, rural practice. We are a two DVM hospital with a total of 9 employees. We are in the process of designing a website and building our social media presence. We are also cleaning up our PIMS with the intent to go paperless this fall. Along with these responsibilities, I am the inventory manager, payroll guru, and keurig queen!

Favorite Veterinary Life Hack
I was in veterinary sales for a few years. Now that I am back in practice management, I utilize my distributor reps as much or more than my manufacturing reps. The are great at getting me samples of products, helping me with SDS/MSDS sheets, helping with specials, B1G1 promotions, etc.
Reasons I love working in the veterinary field
I love working in Veterinary Medicine! It is hard work, exhausting, emotionally draining at times. Being able to educate first time pet owners, help teach new techs, get puppy kisses, and see the human animal bond every day is fulfilling.
