Inventory and ordering in and of itself can be a full-time job. I was sold on the ability to compare prices while viewing inventory items in one location. I have been using Vetcove for a few years now and I would never go back to the old way. The amount of time that it has saved me with ordering and inventory has been nothing short of amazing. This time savings has allowed me to spend more time assisting the clinic’s doctors with the knowledge that our clinic is still saving money and completing more work with less required resources.
Favorite Veterinary Life Hack
A room-temperature intraoral mirror will fog as soon as the patient breathes, but if the mirror is heated the fogging diminishes. Remember that you do not want the mirror HOT, we do not want to burn the patient.
Reasons I love working in the veterinary field
Animals have always been a large part of me and my families’ lives. My pets have helped give my life hours of joy and fulfillment. The years I have spent working in the Veterinary filed have allowed me to learn more about myself and improve my capabilities. The relationships I have built along the way with coworkers, clients and their pets are the biggest reason I love being a Veterinary Technician.
